Standard foam earplugs reduce sound more in the mid and high frequencies producing an unnatural, muffled sound. ER20XS earplugs reduce sound evenly across frequencies. Music and speech are clear, only quieter, resulting in an optimal listening experience.
Insertion Tips
Earplugs must be inserted correctly for optimal effectiveness. Insert the plug by grasping the end cap and inserting until the largest flange is sealed in the ear canal. To ease insertion, pull outward and upward on the ear. Moistening eases insertion of 3 flange eartips. Roll down or compress foam before inserting then hold in place for 5 seconds while the foam expands.
ER20XS are reusable but with repeated use the eartips may lose elasticity. For best performance, if you use your ER20XS constantly, consider replacing the eartips every 3-6 months.
Fit and Care
Standard fit 3 flange is the best fit for 80% of the population. Large fit is best for 15%.
Clean after each use by wiping with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the earplugs in water. Do not clean with harsh chemicals. Alcohol is not recommended.
