Sapele is a light hardwood from tropical Africa with a golden to dark reddish brown color. A close relative of mahogany, its grain is interlocked, and has a uniform texture and good natural luster. Its natural resonance is boosted and concentrated by the arched back of the NUS310, yielding a clear and bright tone. The rosettes in all Flight ukuleles are drawn by hand and engraved by laser.
The neck and fingerboard of the NUS310 are made from African okoume and walnut. It's a great combination that guarantees a stable intonation across the fretboard, is gentle to your hands, and looks great as well.
The nut may be a small component, but one that determines the pitch of the sound. The nut and saddle of the NUS310 are made from bone (not from plastic). Just one of the details that make this ukulele truly special.
Headstock design is an integral part of our identity. All Flight ukuleles feature a carefully-designed headstock fitted with geared tuners that will always stay in tune.

All returns require authorization and original packaging otherwise we reserve the right to charge a restocking fee.
Defective or non-defective returns are processed differently. Items do not necessarily go back to the location from which they shipped.

Returned items that are lost or damaged during transit is solely the shipper's responsibility (which is YOU, when you return an item to us). It is important to send us and save the tracking information.
After receiving the item you must contact us within 30 days from the date of product receipt with the reason for the return and secure a Return authorization number (RA #) and return details.
